Calling the Tata Nexon is a head-turner might be an understatement since Tata Nexon comes with a ton of features with starting price only of Rs. 40.3 lakhs. Similar to Tata Tiago, Tigor, and Altroz, the Nexon offers infotainment by the Audio giant Harman. Together, HARMAN and Tata Motors have set a new benchmark in OEM installed sound and infotainment.

But in Tata Nexon it is special. How? Let’s have a look at the top five features of the Harman-powered infotainment system that makes it exceptional.

  1. Floating Dashtop:

Tata Nexon is the first vehicle in this competitive compact SUV class to include a floating dashtop screen. Needless to say, the 6.5-inch screen is touch supported infotainment display which is both functional, responsive and attractive. The Nexon includes a reverse camera with dynamic guideways, as well as a 6.5-inch display with enough of screen space for comfortable viewing. There is also a separate camera button that allows you to see towards the back of the vehicle without having to engage reverse gear.

  1. 8-speaker audio system

Tata Nexon offers four speakers and four tweeters from Harman, to provide a surround sound experience that is exclusively tuned. Additionally, the infotainment system offers AUX and USB connectivity along with Bluetooth support. With steering mounted controls, you can tune your audio needs as and when required at ease and also speak to it to get your work done.

  1. Smartphone connectivity:

The infotainment by Harman offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. With voice command features, you can easily ask your Nexon to play songs from your smartphone, play videos, view images, make calls, and open other apps. You can carry the “Ok Google” voice command experience to your car, and not to forget it offers smartphone-based navigation as well.

  1. Read and reply to WhatsApp texts:

With WhatsApp taking over phone calls and SMS, for those unaware, you can instruct the infotainment system to read out WhatsApp messages aloud while you are driving and also reply to WhatsApp texts by just talking to your phone via the dashtop screen.

  1. Voice alerts:

The in-built infotainment system offers voice alerts for warning functions, video playback, and image viewing options.
